During his early youth, Ted lived on Crawford St. in Port Jervis right around the corner from Georgina, without either one ever knowing the other. Latini Kuykendall on September 20, 1970, and they were married for 52 years. Ted married the love of his life, Georgina L. In the year 1992, Ted was named Volunteer of the Year for the Port Jervis Little League. During these years, he also coached baseball for his son at home, making him into an all-star player for years to come. Ted served as a board member and Vice President for the Port Jervis Little League. He was a member of the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks, #645, B.P.O.E., for 53 years. Ted enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Port Jervis Men’s Bowling Team for many years. He was an avid golfer and parred the front nine and served as a board member and secretary for the Port Jervis Country Club. He continued his education at Orange County Community College earning his Associates Degree.Īfter 59 years, Ted retired last December as the owner of Aeroquip, a manufacturing company in Port Jervis. He graduated from Port Jervis High School with the class of 1965. During his teen years in Port Jervis, Ted and his buddies organized the “Eldorado Club,” which he was proud to be named President. He was a resident of Port Jervis, for 65 years, until he and his wife, Georgina moved to Matamoras, PA, 10 years ago. Kuykendall, age 75, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Tuesday, Novemat the Westchester Medical Ctr., Valhalla, NY, with his family by his side.
